Saturday Events:

The Sutherlin Blackberry Festival Car Show opens at 6:00am on Saturday morning for registration. Cars line up and park in Central Park, with as many as 200 cars converging for the show.

Mud Volleyball has been a long time event for the Festival, with as many as 25 teams competing in a black clay pit. Each team must have a female player in the pit at all times during competition and no open toed shoes are allowed.

The Sutherlin Senior Center provides a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning
The Blackberry Cook-off Competition is one of the cooler places to attend, and is a great way for those foodies to express themselves and enjoy some air conditioning. There are multiple categories to compete in, and once in a while there is some left-overs from competition for people to sample.

Our BMX Races have classes for kids of ages up to 13, with first place in each class being awarded a bicycle. There are 5 classes for boys and 2 classes for girls, though classes change depending on attendance every year. There are classes for strider bikes and coed Trikes. Entry is a $5 donation, all proceeds are provided to the Community Cancer Center.

At the end of the day on Saturday, the Classic Car Cruise includes all of the cars from the car show, and other cars from 1975 and earlier. The cruise is held from 6:30 to 9:30pm on Central Avenue.
