It is with a heavy heart that I must relinquish my position as the Blackberry Cook-off Chair that I have been doing for over 20 years. Wishing you the best in all your endeavors throughout the year.

We would like to introduce our new Blackberry Cook-off Chairperson, Lorilee Brown. Lorilee has made some changes to the categories.

The judges will be in search of two recipes in each category that stand above the rest. Make sure to give it that certain something to remember.

All recipes must contain blackberries. There is a $5 fee per entry.

Come join in on the Blackberry Cook-off this year Saturday, August 17th.

CHILI COOK-OFF; Sunday August 18th.

Bring your cooked chili in a crock pot to be kept warm for judging. There is a $5 entry fee for each entry.

Registration is at 10am in the Community Building.

The 3 categories are;

Women's, Men's & Texas Style - no beans.

All judges decisions are final.
